I work as a full member of the European Parliament’s Committee on the Environment, Climate and Food Safety (ENVI). I am convinced that environmental protection is crucial for future generations, but at the same time, decisions must serve the interests of European and Hungarian citizens in a balanced way. I consider it important that the green transition and competitiveness go hand in hand, ensuring the preservation of sustainability and economic strength.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I am a full member of the Subcommittee on Public Health (SANT), where I focus particularly on the issues of mental health, cardiovascular diseases, and prevention. My goal is for EU health policy to emphasize prevention, strengthening health awareness, and ensuring accessible care. I believe that a healthy society represents a strong, competitive, and supportive community for all citizens of Europe.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Hungarians in Transcarpathia<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Thanks to the Fidesz-KDNP national list, the Hungarian community in Transcarpathia has also gained representation in the European Parliament. Starting in July 2024, I am the voice of the Hungarians in Transcarpathia, who stands up daily for their minority rights, represents their interests, draws attention to the challenges arising from being a minority, and also presents the rich historical, cultural, artistic, musical, and gastronomic heritage of Transcarpathia and the Hungarian community living there. I represent these goals in several platforms and events, including the European Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs, the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Association Committee, the Minority Working Group, the parliamentary informal group European Remembrance, and numerous other platforms and events, paying special attention to the protection of the rights of traditional national minorities.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
