Transcarpathian Day in Brussels annually transports the exceptionally rich and unique historical, cultural, artistic, musical, and gastronomic values and heritage of Transcarpathia to the heart of Europe, to Brussels. In addition, it creates an opportunity to draw attention to the everyday challenges the Hungarian community in Transcarpathia faces due to its minority status, as well as the dedicated work with which its members strive to preserve their language, culture, and identity.
