Transcarpathian Day in Brussels

XI. Transcarpathian Day in Brussels

Under the theme Embroidered Heritage and Sustainable Fashion, the XI. Transcarpathia Day draws attention to the preservation of Europe’s cultural identity at a time when many traditional values, crafts and regional cultures are facing increasing pressure as a result of globalisation and mass production. Protecting Europe’s cultural heritage is not only a cultural responsibility but also a political priority, as Europe’s strength is rooted in the diversity of its nations, regions and traditions. Through a roundtable discussion and a presentation of traditional embroidery, the event brings the authentic traditions of Transcarpathia to Brussels as a living example of Europe’s rich cultural heritage. It highlights how traditional craftsmanship helps preserve local identity and contributes to strengthening the resilience of local communities.

The event is free, but registration is required! Registration form: https://forms.gle/bUr5AGKaHLeEfKxB9
